The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration provides assistance and benefit to new immigrants – olim and returning residents – toshavim hozrim in the form of an ‘Absorbtion Basket’ – the Sal Klita. New immigrants are entitled to the Absorption Basket during their first year of making aliyah.
