As nice as these organizations are, they are unable to help. I’m an English speaker interested in possibly moving to Israel. HOWEVER, services and accommodations for Anglos with hearing loss are basically zero. I, as I’m sure others desperately need: 1) English language captioning on landline phones, apps on cell phones which transcribe conversations in real time (the one I use now won’t work internationally), English captioning on TV and movies (regardless of spoken language on the screen). Tech to hear and communicate is sorely needed for English speakers with hearing loss in Israel. Not least, it’s a matter of safety and security as well as being able to integrate and adjust to a move.
