Best Israeli inventions for 2019 – TIME Magazine.

This year 9 Israeli inventions feature in TIME magazine list of best and groundbreaking inventions for 2019.  Inventions are assessed across a wide range of categories criteria like; originality, creativity, influence, ambition and effectiveness. Inventions in the fields of electronics, beauty care, health care, food & drink are just some of the categories that formed part of the 2019 selection.  There was an online application process as well as other nominations from various sources that TIME magazine selected.

Did you know that from such a small population of just over 9 million people, Israel boasts 8 Nobel laureates.  Israel has one of the highest per capita rates of patents filed in proportion to its population. Israel has the largest number of start-up companies in the world as well as the highest number of scientists and engineers per capita than any other country. It is therefor not surprising  that Israeli inventions make up almost 10 percent of TIME magazines’ list.
