Best Israeli inventions for 2019 – TIME Magazine.
This year 9 Israeli inventions feature in TIME magazine list of best and groundbreaking inventions for 2019. Inventions are assessed across a wide range of categories criteria like; originality, creativity, influence, ambition and effectiveness. Inventions in the fields of electronics, beauty care, health care, food & drink are just some of the categories that formed part of the 2019 selection. There was an online application process as well as other nominations from various sources that TIME magazine selected.
Did you know that from such a small population of just over 9 million people, Israel boasts 8 Nobel laureates. Israel has one of the highest per capita rates of patents filed in proportion to its population. Israel has the largest number of start-up companies in the world as well as the highest number of scientists and engineers per capita than any other country. It is therefor not surprising that Israeli inventions make up almost 10 percent of TIME magazines’ list.

MyEye2 talking glasses from OrCam.
This device, designed for the blind is attaches to the wearers glasses and can for example, identify objects, faces and read text out loud.
Nerivio migraine treatment
From Theranica Bioelectronics, this device is worn on the upper arm. Smartphone-controlled electronic pulses wirelessly stimulate the body’s neural pathway at the onset of a migraine.
Genny by WaterGen
Genny is a home appliance that looks like an office water-cooler. It collects moisture from the ambient air, filters it and turns it into perfectly drinkable water.
